Busy Year Ahead for RVE

The new decade is looking good for Modern Railways RVE.

Five brand new exhibitors have already joined event regulars in confirming stands for the November 5, 2020 showcase at Derby Arena.

Depot equipment engineers Airquick are the first of the new quintet and they’ve been joined by Chambrelan – manufacturers of heavy-duty rail slides with multiple uses in the rolling stock industry. With PSL Assemblies – designers and manufacturers of power electronics components – and equipment life support and obsolescence management specialist CMCA (UK) also committing to RVE almost a year out, the eighth running of the most focused event in rolling stock is shaping up to be the best yet. And completing the five debutants is Austrian firm Netwiss. Netwiss specialise in efficiency measures for the internal layout of all types of public transport but particularly rail interiors.

With a new date, a new show layout built around a central seminar and networking hub and the established attractions of the industry’s best Meet The Buyer event it’s easy to see why RVE continues to thrive.

And there’s a further reason to commit to the November showcase early, in another new launch for 2020, RVE will be hosting a northern networking event in April and participation is free for confirmed RVE exhibitors.

Scheduled to take place alongside our Modern Railways 4th Friday Club Rail in the North Conference, the table top networking event will focus on rolling stock refurbishment and technology and be held at York’s National Railway Museum on Thursday, April 30th. Demand for stands may outstrip supply for the York event so that’s a great reason to book your RVE stand early.
