Alstom France, Gemini Rail Group, Nottingham Trams and Pullman Rail have joined the list of companies sending buyers to the RVE Meet The Buyer event, taking the total number of participating companies to 18.
RVE Meet The Buyer is organised by Rail Forum Midlands in partnership with the Department for International Trade and will take place at the Modern Railways RVE show on 5 November at Derby Arena. The industry-leading event puts top rail industry buyers in front of the suppliers that they need to see.
Buyers from Alstom France will participate this year in RVE Meet The Buyer. The company is well known in the UK for its rolling stock offer, including its Technology Centre at Widnes, its plans for hydrogen trains and its bid for the HS2 rolling stock contract.
Gemini Rail is the name for the former Knorr-Bremse businesses sold in November 2018 to German holding company Mutares, and includes Gemini Rail Services and Gemini Rail Technology, with a portfolio including heavy maintenance and refurbishment work.
Nottingham Trams is the operator of the Nottingham Express Transit light rail system in Nottingham. The 32km system has 51 stops served by 37 trams built by Alstom and Bombardier.
Pullman Rail became part of the Colas Rail Group in 2012. Operating from its state-of-the-art facilities on the main rail line in Cardiff, it works with customers to develop innovative solutions that address their specific requirements, from complete overhaul projects to repair and maintenance.

Suppliers wishing to participate must register by 4 September, with targeted applications to specific buyers to be submitted by 11 September.
